YIJING
What is the YiJing (or I Ching)?
The YiJing, which means the book or classic of mutations, is much more than just a book. It's a complex mathematical, geometrical and symbolic system that aims to describe and compile the phenomena of transformations in the Universe, those of nature in the broadest sense that include Heaven and Earth.
It first appeared several thousand years ago in China, and was discovered by the ancient King-Shaman FuXi, who himself drew on the observation of natural phenomena and the knowledge of the deities with whom he communicated.
He developed the system of the eight "BaGua" trigrams, which represent the archetypal energies that are the building blocks of our universe (cf: Heaven, Lake/Marsh, Fire, Thunder, Wind, Water, Mountain and Earth).
These are themselves closely linked to the elements, directions and phases of life.
Each trigram is made up of three Yang or Yin coded lines (solid or broken lines), an early binary coding system that gives a permutation of 8 possibilities, 8 trigrams.
Each trigram contains a mathematical aspect, a symbolic image and a philosophical message.
Then, these 8 trigrams can be linked together, giving us a sum of possible permutations of 64....
64 is the number of hexagrams in the YiJing, each composed of two trigrams, one lower and one higher.
64 is the number that encompasses all possible states and mutations of a given thing.
64 is also the number of tetrahedrons existing in the geometrical structure of the "Void", or point 0, discovered by physicist Nassim Haramein, a structure which gathers and arranges all the possibilities of manifestation and transformation of our reality.
Each hexagram carries a message, a wisdom, derived from the relationship of its two trigrams and their symbolism.
The ancient Chinese shamans had thus grasped the mathematical and symbolic notions essential to the manifestation of our reality.

In practical terms, a YiJing consultation takes the form of a random draw (using various techniques, mental arithmetic, coins, yarrow sticks) according to a question or theme given by the consultant. This will give a clear and nuanced answer, depending on whether or not a second hexagram is obtained from the "changing traits".
Of course, the art lies in the interpretation, which requires great familiarity with these trigrams and hexagrams, and an intuitive quality that enables us to resonate with the Universe, the consultant, his issues, his energy, his life and with the I Ching.
The consultation takes place in three phases:
1st: contact by telephone or video conference to ask the question and exchange a few words to better contextualize. (10min max)
2nd: in a dedicated space and time, I draw the hexagram and meditate on it in relation to the question and the person.
3rd : telephone appointment or videocall to do the reading, report, interpret the results and discuss them with the consultant (advice, guidance, proposals...).

Any question can be addressed with YiJing; there is no such thing as a "bad" question. However, the rule of resonance is that the clearer and more concise the question, the clearer and more concise the answer.
These questions can be very practical and concrete, just as they can be broader, more fundamental questions about oneself, one's life, one's situation, one's relationships, the paths to take or to leave.
The particularity of YiJing is to give an answer that resonates with the here and now where the consultant is, with his or her energy, proposing from there possible paths of transformation, both favorable and unfavorable.
